When you initially setup your Macbook you will add your k12.mn.us account. Submit a helpdesk ticket if you need help with this account.
Setting up email Signatures
Adding Gmail to your Outlook mailbox:
Make sure you click on Save Changes.
Next go into Outlook.
Hit Add account. Then in the accounts window that shows next, select More Options below the outgoing server settings
In this window select Use Incoming Server Info from the top drop down and click OK.
After you hit OK, toward the top of the screen there is a box for Full name that likely says "Shakopee Public Schools." Change it to your full name.
Your account should now work! Close the accounts window with the red dot in the upper left corner, and you should see both your k12.mn.us and @shakopeeschools.org inboxes on the left side. You can select Inbox to see both in the same place, or individually select either one for only the emails from that account.
If you notice that Outlook prompts you for your shakopeeschools.org password often, open your applications folder, find the Microsoft Office folder, right-click on Outlook and click "Get Info." Check the box that says "Prevent App Nap."
